Out of all my years spent on this earth, this one seems to be going past the fastest yet. If I were in JC, now, it'd probably go along just like secondary school, and things like June holidays of Christmas were nothing more than a shiny star in the sky, a lonely cloud drifting by!
Had all my tests for this term. I hope I pass the REMT written one, I didn't really study hard for that one, and I'm hoping to get through based on my wonderful drawings of various instruments and mics. Hopefully I won't fail too badly that my practical assignments can't save me. Managed to get an A for the first one (had lots of water sounds and toilets flushing) and the second one didn't go too badly (other than the fact I forgot to go for a meeting with my other group mates).
First theory test went pretty fine, despite a couple of careless mistakes. Am hoping to do better in the second one. I checked everything and listened with Dumbo ears to those weird-sounding scales.
Keys. Made a couple of slip ups. But I'll pass. Just not well. Dammit.
Ear training was the funnest of the tests, but I lost marks on the memory part and the naming intervals part.
MIDI (was it just last week?!). Good thing we went through the block diagram the Friday before the test, that was practically a 10-mark gift. For the listening part I got most of the stuff, however I did a lot of guessing for the Name That Change section and I KNOW they're all wrong.
Now I'm enjoying my holiday watching anime, surfing, and sitting on my butt drinking coke. But as I said in the first paragraph, time is going past superfast now, and this month seems to be flying by especially speedily.
Wikipedia said that time seems to start zooming ahead the older we get, as percentage of our life remaining decreases. That's not very comforting. I'm getting old.........
....and I am not even able to see my favourite fanfics completed before I go.
Should start compiling a list of things to do before I die. World domination will definitely be there somewhere, as well as becoming a pwnworthy pianist, and getting Twilight Princess, and Four Swords, and finishing Halo, and seeing what FF7 is really like, and watching POTC3: Whatever The Title May Be, and the Hobbit, and Saiyuki, and Ouran, and starting a band, and making moolah, and pwning everything.
Might post again in 2 days, if I'm not too depressed.
