It's done.
Had my final presentation today. Ok, it didn't really go the way I played it in my head: was nervous so ended up making lots of lame jokes. Buuuut lecturers seemed pretty happy with my stuff. Asked some of them how it was after my group session. They all liked Sunny more than Aurora...yeah I figured, cos it's all live instead of all the MIDI stuff. But Aurora is my Own-Genre.
So now I know. And turns out all the stressing out over the mix was solved when I did it at home and just did what I want instead of what I thought they would want...? I was just trying to get rid of all the irritating frequency parts cos lecturers said it sounded irritating after a while. I just wish I'd stayed behind a bit longer to see if there were any people to tell me how great I am. I think I deserve it, after all the stress I went through the past year!!! Blah, just kidding. I played just as much as I did stuff....

Talked to the 2 REMT lecturers during break. Turns out the last-minute mix I did for Aurora went pretty well (I just got rid of the irritating frequency and made sure my "clever" sounds wouldn’t pierce through everyone’s heads). And the reason I'd done so many mixes in the first place? Cos everyone kept giving different opinions, I was getting more and more worried, soI decided just screw it and do it my way. At home. No special mastering stuff cos I'm clueless. But no regrets!
They said Sunny mix was quite good, and that even my midi bass sounded real! Haha the only real thing about it was the slide in.....yeah......sorry Amir......
So now I've got nothing big left to do... just some side projects and applications for stuff. I'm sooo happy! I'm free! Free!!!! FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
