Yesterday spent almost the whole day roasting under the sun. The crazy Singapore weather first decided to be sunny, and once everyone arrived it changed its mind and started raining. Once we were done cursing the weather and eating lunch, it decided to make fun of us and be super super hot. But at least we're done with the first half of the video. We are, I think, the only group to use a trolley (that didn't work) in our filming.

E-learning is almost done. Except for 2 big problems called BUMS and REMT. Arrrrrghhh!!!! I don't know how to give legal advice beyond "I think you need a real lawyer" only I can't do that in this esssay cos we're supposed to be the ones fighting the case x.x

REMT...still no gig, unless I want to try my luck at the Esplanade again....and they don't like us students much.... Worst comes to worst, I'll just talk to the people at church, even though I'm quite sure that's cheating =x

Btw, anyone want to go eat sushi with me? I need to take photos of the sushis.......89

A rundown of last week....

Monday
-Long REMT lesson, but today got to apply the stuff we've been learning.
-Now am much less sotong around the mixer....I think.....
-Jazzband (yay!)
-Long practice (yay!)
-Angry parents (boo!)

Tuesday
-...
-For some reason I can't remember what we did that day. Next!

Wednesday
-Woke up a bit late, and was halfway to school when...
-"Zomg I forgot my phone!"
-Missed MUST that day.....felt quite guilty =X
-GEMS after that, slept through most of it
-Made some new friends from SD, CLS, and MA. Whee...now I have friends from every school!
-Couldn't go watch bowling cos there was the bloody pre-ITP talk
-Ended up being a tour guide of sorts since most of us had no idea where LT17A was
-Most of the stuff was pretty obvious e.g. call your supervisor if someone tries to rape you....-.-
-Band again. Xmas medley is almost complete. Just must get everyone to practice it together.

Thursday
-Missed Theory AGAIN to go to rehearsal for MM Day's concert
-Zzzz...rushed all the way there only to find no one arrived yet
-Boss was the latest =P
-Finished the rehearsal just in time for MIDI
-Froze to death
-Thawed once noon came
-No DVPT cos teacher expects us to get started on work already
-Met Jess and Adam at FC4
-Had really horrible nasi goreng for lunch X6
-Luckily the rehearsal people had moved Leslie out to the Plaza, so no heavy-lifting for us
-Sound system was really bad
-But got through it somehow
-Liked my solos that day
-Went home while everyone else went back to class! =P

Friday-PERF in the morning but it was really bad so I'll skip it
-Hung around in 2025 with MP and other people, jamming all kinds of funny stuff
-If you can call a 2-woman keyboard ensemble jamming -.-
-Went down to band room to do last-minute arranging
-Actually felt quite nervous, right up to when the curtains opened
-Got harrassed by rowdy audience members =X
-A bit distracted....so solos weren't so good
-Went back to band room and did homework until the prize-giving ceremony
-Got caught in the thunderstorm of lightsticks
-Collected our token of appreciation....but wasn't allowed to keep it =(
-Went home without even taking a lightstick as a souvenirSaturday
-Nothing much happened......

Sunday-Got inspiration for DEAE! W00t! ^.^

Just another day at school. Zomg I've ponned Theory 2 days in a row...that's not very good....at least today I have an excuse.....sort of.... There was some bazaar going on over the past few days to advertise SP to sec school kids.....yeah...... So it was up to the Awesome Foursome from SP Junior Jazzband to save the day!!!

Blah. But a but hard to kick ass when the sound system sucks. Ya, it was so bad that even I could tell it sucked....but at least we managed to get through with minimal mental scarring.... But I liked my solos today, it might be coming out of its down period once again....

E-learning looks like it's going to be stressful. Funny how a week of just doing homework (on the computer, what's more) can make people go bonkers.

I composed a song...an emo one, cos I'm good at writing emo songs.....its still in my head though...better fix it in tangible form soon...later kana stolen....then no copyright.....yeah........

Another Perf presentation this week. Don't think we did too badly, cos we managed to get to the end without anyone screwing up badly=) Not bad for last minute practice, my leadership skills must be improving. But halfway through the lesson everyone was getting distracted, talking about the new Nightwish album. I didn't know so many DMAT people were fans!

Zzz...class finished at 12. Nothing much to do at home, and Mum's gone to Malaysia for a few days, so met up with Adam to go cd shopping. Turned out none of the shops would have Dark Passion Play for another 2 weeks, so hung around Suntec for lunch. And (surprise, surprise) Jessica showed up halfway!

They went bowling then arcade....ahhh if I'd known I was going to go out I'd have brought more moneyD= Just sat and watched them get slaughtered by zombies in House of the Dead 4.

Chatted about some "interesting" stuff with Adam on the way home, so I have lots of new things to think about now =p.
