Respectful Dreamer



That's interesting. Almost completely accurate.

And real comforting to know that only 8% of the takers are less confident than me. I don't have the O in the SPCORE! Oh noes, what shall I do?!

I've been stressing a lot over my e-learning homework. But I've nearly finished that damn Powerpoint, all I'm worried about is the actual presenting bit. And the copy of Audacity on my laptop chooses to quit every few minutes, causing me quite a bit of work the first time this happened. I was very very angry with it, and might've even said a few blasphemous things.

Must find some way to get it done by Wednesday. But I'm too discouraged to try it. I'm a sad panda, yes I am.

I feel like watching some of those movies I listed last year. When I had the set blue template for this blog.

Less than 3 weeks till Dead Man's Chest! Well, for Singapore at least. Those buggers in Yurp and Us get it sooner. Blantant racism right there!!!!!! I could go off on a rant here, but I'm too lazy.

Speaking of Yurps and Uses, I've managed to type out a profile for myself. But I don't think anyone's been interested enough to read it. After all the work I put it!

Whew. Over the past week, I have been to:
-Leicester-Trafalgar-Picadilly Square
-Tower of London
-War Museum
-Stonehenge (nice long nap there)
-Airplane Museum
-Tully's Farm (yummy fruit)
-Thorpe Park (lost my pink and purple hair ties :( )
-Hyde Park (darneded pretty. I love it there)
-Leeds Castle (fed the ducks!)
-Regent's Park (not as pretty, but more birds)
-Donkeys Years (very funny play!)

Yup. Just got back yesterday evening, and I was having such a great time catching up with everyone I completely ditched the blog. Am forcing myself to write this quickly now, so I can get back to Fanficland.

Today I went to help out with Shell at my younger cousin's birthday party. It was pretty fun, even though I risked life and limb to tape that box of letters to the playground post. All those kids undid my work with their tugging and shoving. Oh well, a few centuries ago when I was their age I might have done the same.

Went back with Shell to her place and had fun reading fanfic rants and raves. And she let me search for Power Ranger pics on DA since they don't let you use that function if you're not a member. Which is why I joined today. Wahaha. I am a name-waster and I don't care :P

Went over to her bro's room and watched him play Guild Wars. It looks like fun! A super anime-ed version of RO, that has GOTTA be great. (only problem they have is no Thief class, but that's alright, I'll survive)

I think I shall make myself a guy, since he is masquerading as a girl. A Necromancer for me, perhaps. Nice, cool, and gothy. With long hair like vampires. Yeah!

However

They have included an access key in installation CD, said keys are all different in each box set, and can be only used once. Unless I get my own (apparently, they're only sold in America. And the UK! ARRRRGH!), or get his account password, I'm stuck.

Well....I finished my homework.

Stop laughing, ok!!! Fine, maybe I was overreacting a little. Just happy it's over. And that I've found a way to solve the IDEA drawing problem. I'm going to bring my scanner along, and find out some way to incorporate my ACM scribblings into a drawing on the plane, then I shall email it to the teacher.

First I'll put that drawing in the scanner, then I'll put it in a folder, then I'll put it in another folder, and then I'll put it in an email, and then I'll mail it to myself and when the mail arrives (Nyahahahahaha) I'll SMASH IT WITH A HAMMER!!!!!

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!

For all those curious buggers out there, I will be away from the 9th (today) till the 19th. Or is the 20th? Maybe 18th? Oh well, who cares about time difference. I shall return some time next next week and all shall be well with the world once more.

I was quite like the yellow one earlier this week:P

Have to grab all the clothes I'm bringing, since I left my own packing till the last day. I thought I'd be able to get out of it so I could stay at home with the 4 Ps (Pepsi, Potato chips, Piano, and Power Rangers).

Probably won't bring my camera. It has all the photos I took from the day I went to see Goblet of Fire with my friends last year up to last week's ones of the cat. I'm too lazy to clear out all the space so maybe I'll use mum's camera instead.


The weather is really nice today. It was raining early in the morning so it's pretty cool and aaaaaaaah:D Walked over to Zen's house so I could save my MIDI on something cos apparently it refused to be sent over MSN. Got to play with her dog a bit. He's a sweet little thing. Shetland sheepdog, I believe.

I was a bit scared for a while because I thought my blog had been deleted. See, whenever I keyed in the URL it kept bringing me to this missionary site. It was rather upsetting for me, since I haven't given the Blogspot admins any reason kill my blog. Found out a couple of days later it was because I kept typing in the "blogspot" wrongly.....there were some wrong letters in there....and I never noticed.....=-_-=

Sky is so nice and grey, looks like it'll rain again. I like it when it's this colour, everything is nice and dim, no horrible yellow eye burning everyone up and giving them skin cancer.

Tried to do as much of my homework as I could. Finished the pinao micing part of the REMT, only those darn drums left. I feel proud of myself for finishing it, only have that MIDI thing to do.

Went over to Zen's house to use her computer since mine didn't have sound for the thing. Spent rest of the afternoon there halfheartedly pushing buttons up and down on a Java Applet. The music was horribly repetitive. It's still stuck in my head.

Tomorrow she's gonna come over so I can use her laptop again. Will try to cram everything into tomorrow, since I'm leaving on Friday to go on a holiday that I'm not very keen on.

I LIKE staying at home with the computer. I want to get together with my SC buddies and go watch a movie and get together like we used to. It's been a while since we've all met up; the last time was like.....um.......the day I dressed emo-style and blew bubbles along Orchard Road. Yeah, that was fun.

No, wait....Tristan and Isolde! Me and Jester had so much fun making funny comments at the stuff going on on the screen.

I feel really lucky to have all these friends, and I'm happy that nothing's happened yet to dissolve our friendship.

Better stop at 2 lines before this gets too mushy. I've lost the mood, anyway.

Have started watching SPD, since it looks really interesting! And everyone is right, that Bridge guy is really funny!

And to those of you wondering what happened to my tagboard, well....let's say it can only be found by those who know where it is....and know where and how to knock....

Changed the layout. Doesn't it look yummy?

Am particularly proud of how I managed to stick the archives up in the top left hand corner of the screen. Originally it was on the "Me" section, and you had to doubleclick the "Me" link to see the Stuff About Me.

Now, if only I knew exactly why it moved itself over there instead of to the Links portion.....oh well, it's more interesting this way.

Second-last day of term

Today was pretty ok. I could remember how to do the maths questions in Math, so that made me feel smart and put me in a pretty good mood. Then there was Theory and I killed my eyes surfing on my lappie, and then I really died in MIDI cos my computer had some technical issues and I was ripping my hair out wondering why the thing wouldn't sound right.

Then I went home and the realization of how much homework we were going to have for e-Learning week hit me like a speeding Megazord. I have no idea how I'm going to get all that done before I go off next Friday. I don't even want to go, I'd rather stay at home with my laptop (even though it does get a bit creepy at night...).

But there'll be so much I'll be missing! Chats with online friends, cleaning the spam out of my inbox, and all the lovely fanfic updates that'll almost certainly occur while I'm away. Always happens; I take a break from an author for a few days, and the day I decide to skip there's an update. Drives me nuts, it does.

Anyway, after I got home I ate lots of food cos I was hungry and there was aikido later and there probably wouldn't be any food when I got back. Felt a bit sick when I went, and had to suppress urge to puke several tiems. Swift was able to come today, so that was nice. Got yelled at by the instructor twice: once for doing the wrong technique, and the second for partering Swift too much. That was rather embarrassing, but we managed to sneak out of the dojo unnoticed after class.

Then we came to my place and played the piano a bit and then I saw there was an update on OLAB so I happily took off to PowerRangerverse while Swift read a book on...something.

Soon after her 'rents came to pick her up and I went to have a nice shower. Came back, tried to use parents printer to print out post-CIP worksheet and got yelled at by them for bothering them late at night. I hate filling in stupid reflections worksheets, they always come out funny.

That reminds me, I have to go to school early to fill it in, since it's due tomorrow. And my REMT assignment! Arrrgh!

Oh, my curtains have changed colour. From a horrible salmon pink that makes the room disgustingly bright in the morning to a sort of lavendery colour with bubble things on it. Weird. Test says my blog should be purple and my room goes purple.

Well, tomorrow is the last day of the term. Then I will have survived 7 weeks of Poly life. Go me!
